The Sons of the Father

Gregory style "I"

n the final frame of the reign of the Malagostrogoots of Mars, when Muffan the Iron Malagostrogoot yet disht out the saccharine (as sweet law were calld), livd there an
man which haed three sons.  And that man wath evil, and kept his self hid outen the Malagostrogootic eye, and decried he authoridy’s intrusiary harrassity.  But the sons, the sons were evil not, neither spat they into the alms-hats of the blind, tho a passing hatshoot true launcht was their father’s grinning badge.  Nor snatcht they the pouch & caboodle of the weaklin, on finding him betrampt & down by chickens.  Nay, but trundle him away to the bonewelder did they, and hockt their capes to go the fee, and fetcht home for him his trifles unto his cusswife Droola (or such other name)—all, against the hazard-hap that their father espy them charitabol engag-ed, and exsplode.  (’Twas he which, hooting, hath crasht his neighber’s chickenyards,  he filling his poulterbag in pursuit as mad before him roost’ & pullet did scram.  Yea, the mark of his heel, too, were upon the weaklin, whom he scarce hath noticed in the dust & din.)

Nor blasphem-ed these brothers against the almighty who giveth devastatien, nor again against the partmighty who giveth only some vexatien, nor again against the unmighty toothless who goeth baring vicious gums upon an unfleeing sociedy; tho sure, the sons hurld a tempest of blasfeemie out upon the idol Cairogongus Merelenia Frendrifwah, the Goat in the Coat, dousing and burning him on his perch atop the man-animal love loft, callt the mall, which hath been built by some weirdos.  For the sons aspir-ed unto moral tone.  In the caddalog of ways to be, right proper were the only words upon the page of the three sons.

& as for snatching, snatcht they each his own tostado, and his own tostado alone, they imposing o’er their selfs a dissiplin against coveting and snatching away their neighbors’ tostados.  & as for spitting out against any one, ’twas only the taxjackal—insalubrius takeragent of tax invaders no party to the reign of the Malagostrogoots—who ever knew their spittle, as he waddld past neath the sherwood trees wherein they righteous lay wait.

Sure certain, the sons were a hard & contentious lot, and conductnd they their bizniss by fist in the manner of the day, as was meet in the mode of a man of achievoment.  Forsooth, as in the day of Muhh, righteousness and beating go together; and these sons went with them.
